What draws me most to jazz is its fluidity. Unlike many other genres, jazz allows for complete creative freedom in each performance. The same tune can sound different every time, depending on how it’s played, the energy of the band, and the interaction with the audience. It’s about finding that perfect moment of synchronicity with fellow musicians and letting the music take on a life of its own. Each riff, each solo, and each syncopated beat is an opportunity to tell a story, express a feeling, and share a piece of my soul through sound.

Just spent $1500 on candle supplies for xmas 🫠 I remember starting /humankind last year and being so scared cuz I had no customers and I was in everyone’s DMs begging them to join my waiting list lol. I spent around the same amount to start up! Before my concerns were that no one would buy candles. Now I’m concerned I’m not buying enough inventory to meet demand 😛 what privilege I have to serve my customers.
