don't let the markets or short term thinkers psyop us: 1. build for the long term 2. believe in ourselves 3. win together we are building a global economy that can work for everyone. it's not going to be easy, but we can do it.

Feels like crypto is trending heavily toward either “definite pessimism” (aka PvP nihilism) or “indefinite optimism” (“bring the world onchain”) according to the Thiel matrix. We need more definite optimism.

4. Community Exploitation – Some projects rely on their community to promote them for free, while they pay influencers to push their narrative. They assume the community will stay engaged regardless. 5. Short-Term Thinking Many projects focus on quick funding rounds or token sales rather than long-term sustainability. They spend money on influencers to pump interest rather than building genuine engagement. 6. Changing Trends– The rise of social media means projects compete for attention. Paying influencers is often the fastest way to get noticed.

Here is why projects pay more yappers than their community 1. Marketing and Visibility – Influencers (yappers) have a large audience, and projects see them as a way to gain fast exposure. A single shoutout from a big influencer can bring in more users than a community of smaller participants. 2. Hype Over Loyalty – Many projects prioritize short-term hype to attract investors rather than long-term community building. Paying influencers generates instant buzz, while rewarding the community takes time and effort. 3. ROI (Return on Investment) – Projects often believe that influencer marketing brings in more investors or buyers than rewarding community members. They see it as a business decision.
