So there is this idea in medicine called "screening", which translates to looking for serious diseases with available treatment methods before they get too difficult to manage. I'll name a few diseases and their best screening methods: - Colon Cancer: Colonoscopy every 5-10 years, starting at age 50. - Cervical cancer: Pap smear every 3 years, starting at age 21 -Breast cancer: Mammography every year , starting at age 40-45 till 70 -Type 2 diabetes: Some blood tests(usually FBS and HbA1c) every 3 years, starting at 45(if you have no family background) -Dyslipidemia (basically means high levels of fatty substance in your blood): Blood tests (total cholesterol, triglycerides) starting at 55 years of age and then repeating it every 5 years Any diseases you would recommend for screening?
