The problem is literally no one asked for this feature from solana. It’s a pure feature play to enrich their brand with no clear user benefits. Everything in their marketing campaign is about how someone can spread solana around the web. Only shallow customer pains are being addressed. Saying it’s for “web3 adoption” is a smokescreen.

I completely agree with your point about the features not addressing any of the customers’ pain points. Additionally, you can’t onboard people unless you’re solving a problem or meeting a need, and this feature doesn’t accomplish either.

Yeah I mean it’s cool don’t get me wrong. The ability to embed blockchain actions. (Feels like they wanted to beat Farcaster and Base to the punch). But end of day, it’s just a feature, and features are easy to copy. What’s not easy to copy are deeply understanding customers, their problems, dreams, relationships, and building for those relationships. As Steve Jobs said, marketing for him was about values.
