If newborn’s bassinet is in your bedroom, how does your partner manage sleep? Right now we have the bassinet in the baby room and there is also a bed for an adult to sleep there. Whoever is looking after the baby can use that. Wondering if we should move the bassinet to our bedroom. We do miss having him by the bed side sometimes

We also had our baby next to us for the first few months + ear plugs for the parent who got to sleep. We mostly did turns like one to wake up up to 2 AM and the other after.

i have been floating this idea of ear plugs with my partner, but it isn't sticking yet.
