“Don’t call it Web3 anymore, it’s crypto.” I was reading Jake’s post (a must-bookmark one tbh) and honestly didn’t expect this take. For me "Web3' covers everything about an ownership-based internet so why move away from it and call it just “crypto"? Genuinely curious to hear thoughts! https://x.com/jake_stott/status/1882452877635097071?s=46&t=Q_cDH29WGAt3Izkv7uthnQ

I think it's a stupid take for a marketing suggestion and sounds like it's coming from someone who doesn't know how to read the zeitgeist in this context, crypto is appropriate when you're: - explaining to normies what you do and don't want to go into detail and confuse them - talking about markets/trading specifically otherwise crypto as a marketing term is scary/cringe web3 is much more encompassing

Yeah crypto for me is financial. Same thing for wallets too much of the general language used is finance driven. If we want it to be more web3 or other terms should be used more

Relevant to the crypto marketing job market, there's a mention of the importance of staying updated with current market trends and understanding the success factors behind recent campaigns, which ties into the rapid evolution and high engagement required in the crypto sector. and @haier check your DM

I don’t think this way but my guess is: It’s terminology from last cycle and makes you seem not in the know.
