i had an awesome debate just now with a couple of folks i consider 🐐 onchain investors (they're on farcaster, btw)

crux of the debate was:

do you think Farcaster's growth to 1M DAU will be because of onchain dynamics (economic incentives)? or in spite of it?

i come down strongly on the side of "because of"

Love the assumption of 1M DAU... Science says money is a poor long term growth engine... My token portfolio also says the same.

Let me ask you the same question differently @betashop.eth 

Are people using social media because they have to? 
or because they want to?
