Does it have a composer mode that edits files across your whole project?

I don’t think it does? But I’m not sure. I try to stay away from the chat-like features mostly, I just use it for the autocomplete suggestions.

Chat-like features are nice tho. Why switch windows and chat in Claude/google/perplexity if you can get all your questions and research done right in the IDE

I’m sure that’s a good use case but I don’t use Claude/perplexity much either 

This says nothing about the usefulness of cursor, more about how I use the tools because generally I’m working on codebases that are large and niche so AI Chat generally doesn’t have anything to add there

If I really need to use chat then opening a browser is fine in those cases for me
