l2 roadmap is going bad not because chains cannot interop but because chains don't want to interop everyone is building walled gardens so they capture the most $$$ when each chain projects "TVL" as the north star metric, nobody wants to support multichain interop projects anymore literally >1000 EVM chains on mainnet right now, most of them would kill for higher TVL - interop roadmap kills it interop will happen regardless, but its not going to be easy scale the l1
