what's your thoughts on non-EVM L2s a la starknet and fuel?

I agree with this take generally, but as a dev in the space and an educator it's partly in my hands to direct new devs/students towards certain ecosystems and mentor them. 

there's middlemen between the end user/dev and the protocol - and their decision making criteria is typically more informed

only customers such as devs using the protocol and consumers - users of the protocol itself will decide which L2 they believe in which higly rely on DevEx - onboarding, docs, clean code etc as well as applications build on top of it and usecases of the L2 itself

interesting perspective about Cairo. I don't think it is zero improvement over the EVM, but im gonna spend some time thinking about this a bit more

I think the EVM is constrained with obvious limitations. Excited to see sovereign rollapps experiment with exaction environments. 

Personally bullish fuel after listening to some podcasts with John talk. 

More bearish Cairo and starkware as I don’t know if they offered any significant improvements over the EVM.
