why is it so hard to have a good email client on windows?

windows mail is trash 
thunderbird is too boomer
spark just absolutely fucked up with version 2 and doesn't have version 1 available on windows
Amie doesn't have a windows version

just let me read my emails :(

What makes Thunderbird "too boomer"? Is it something that could be fixed with some dev effort, or is it fundamentally broken in your mind?

I'm a software engineer in Northern California. My main strengths are C++ and Python.

What's wrong with it? Works great for me?
