why dont native ios notifications work properly for this app? it shows the red icon but i never get an actual push notification, and then i have to open the app and refresh notifications to see what happened also, something i really miss from X that is muscle memory now, please allow double-tapping the "home" icon to scroll to top and refresh my feed

We don't push for every action but we do push for badge counts. So you are getting pushes. What does your preferences look like. Can you share what you see when you press the gear icon on notifications tab top right?
