Anyone have a strong opinion on paying or not paying for copilot?

Meh. It’s good for boilerplate, and pretty good for writing tests too, the chat sucks though. I’ve stopped using it and don’t really miss it. The odd paste into GPT itself usually does the trick.

Yeah it doesn’t take long to get used to not seeing the hints. Autocomplete can be a miss at times but overall I have no plans to start using it again

I had it from my last job and I agree it is really good at tests. 
I kinda got used to seeing the hints, but they were mostly useless. 
I agree with your take, exactly what I am leaning on as is.
