back in 2016, when i started college, i had no cellphone or smartphone. i just didn’t want one and could communicate with my family through facebook or my sister’s phone

my college friends would bully me because i’d always read their messages late or reply in person when i saw them 😹 then one day, one of them gifted me this pink samsung that used to belong to his mom so i could at least send texts and receive calls

i didn’t ask for it, but i loved the gesture, and by the end of the week, i was obsessed with my first phone 💖 it was outdated af, but it had everything i needed, fit everywhere, and of course, it was pink 🫦

I remember sometime back then (around 2010 maybe) I was on a trip and my phone was stolen , so I had to get by without a phone for some time and it was kind of ok not to have a cell phone, because the texting was not as intense as it is now
