it's one thing about us americans, we value personal space and affording it to others

also people say "hi" too much in the states so sometimes people avoid crossing people because they dont want to smile or say hi today LOL

trust me, it took me a full year of being here in Panama to stop worrying when people got too close 😹😹

but I still give people plenty of personal space, it’s funny to me and I refuse to change it 😹

also people shop like literal crackheads in stores in the usa imo, when you get to the checkout it’s like a f1 race or something… service is expected to be fast… and restaurants/meals out are wayyy wayyy faster
