Apple: I just saw a *very serious* NASA scientist being interviewed on CNN. She inadvertently made some hand gesture, and a fireworks show appeared behind her. Kept her cool, as did the hosts, but do you really think these wacky effects should be on by default?

This is 100% right. Any time the camera is engaged for any app -- including Zoom -- the "gestures" thing seems to be on by default. It's a trap.

It's fine for FaceTime, which is used for 1:1 personal chats, but for it to be on by default in Zoom is wack and unprofessional
