After raising the child for 5 months she surrendered him to the biological parents There’s no way to tell how many mistakes like this and others occur with IVF because most end in arbitration. No one’s tracking anything And calls for industry regulation are meeting fierce pushback “The IVF industry has historically opposed additional regulation, saying that mistakes are no more common than in any other field of medicine.” There also is an unwillingness to confront an embryo’s personhood that plays a part. Bryan Johnson has been proactively trying to get ahead of this NYT piece — it’s here It says that Bryan is extremely controlling of his employees and wields this control through extraordinary confidentiality agreements I don’t expect a ton of sympathy for the worker here. I understand how you could have a positive perspective on these agreements. It is an individual’s choice whether or not to work for Bryan. BUT — the piece also suggests there may be more than meets the eye to the protocol, which many follow. Bryan’s medical advisor featured in the Netflix documentary, resigned over concerns related to the protocol. In Bryan’s own study of 1700 people, many people had adverse effects when following Blueprint. When Bryan reported on the work, he released data on only 300 participants Blueprint clearly works for many if not all and I’m not trying to tell you to stop eating nutty pudding. Imagine if every time we clicked on a link, we got a "Connect Browser" popup that listed every browser ever made from Netscape Navigator to Chrome to Edge, and we had to pick which browser to open the link with. Then as a cherry on top, also scan a QR code for some reason too. 🫠
