Playing along with Trump's anti-science crusade here is his NASA administrator Jared Isaacman saying we need to be cutting NASA science programs in response to Neil DeGrasse Tyson saying the asteroid is a good reminder we need to fund science. This is the opposite direction humanity needs to go in with space exploration. We need way more science funding in so many areas of NASA and the whole point of science is we should let the scientists figure out what's important not go around penny pinching from their projects if it doesn't fit the admins profit + military priorities. I was hoping Jared would be of Trump's least bad picks but I'm not sure now. Public needs to push back on this and demand full funding for NASA science programs. It's so important for humanity.

The amount of children Musk has out of wedlock confirms to me he believes in some crazy shit about perpetuating his genes, either actual eugenics or race realism stuff. He totally fails to understand how horrible it is to have children who won't have their father present as they grow up. Borderline abuse imo.

These "capitalism KOLs" are a bunch of fascists, Carter has had many red flags for years. It's good this is coming out now because we all need to be clear about what we're building and why. We need post-imperialist economic systems. Not more capitalist tools of extraction and control. Ethereum either will have revolutionary potential or it won't because the capitalists have fully captured it. I'm not sure if they have or have not, but I think we have a chance, maybe.

It's strange there isn't much pro NATO sentiment among the people who react the most viscerally to communism (or jokes about communism). Starting to suspect their ideological opposition to communism is less about supporting individual liberties and more about concentrating power and wealth into the hands of elites.

Today, Twitter manually and wrongfully suspended the account of my company, g8keep. If this was just a personal account, I really wouldn't care as much. But, g8keep is a pre-seed venture backed company. We have employees. We have salaries and benefits to pay. g8keep is a full time job for everyone on the team. The unfortunate thing is, Twitter is quite literally one of the main distribution and marketing platforms in our industry. This was the platform that we used to build our business since day 1. I don't like that this is the case, but in the crypto industry, quite literally everyone is on Twitter. Until now, I didn't really see the negative effects of censorship on social media platforms. That is, until it happened to me and my company. Without any notice, and without any non-automated responses, they were able to essentially delete our company's presence from their platform. This is a pretty eye opening moment for me to start prioritizing this platform.
