Very simple spec for a first cut of programmable DCs. Plan is to basically expose a thin layer on top of internal Warpcast APIs. We don't know enough about the final shape of public DC APIs, so will keep it simple to start.

I can’t think of a case where I would be happy with an automated dc. Can someone give me a use case I might not be thinking of that would add value to my experience?

If you're interested in sending direct casts via an API, please reply with a quick 1-liner explaining what you'd use it for. 

Will be making a group to get design feedback on these APIs.

Awesome told dwr something similar for notifications but really love and appreciate the options to opt in/out on everything. Exactly what I’d hope for. Thanks for the thread it was helpful!
