Very simple spec for a first cut of programmable DCs. Plan is to basically expose a thin layer on top of internal Warpcast APIs. I can’t think of a case where I would be happy with an automated dc. Can someone give me a use case I might not be thinking of that would add value to my experience?

A richer message type would be helpful. I think at least the ability to include a link would be useful, so either markdown or limited html would be great. E.g. if Courtyard messages a user "You have a new offer for 1000 USDC on your Charizard" that may not be helpful without a link to the Charizard.

- how can I opt out if I'm too annoyed with the messages? - how are messages/ webhooks secured? - recommend adding some kind of tag + visual indicator to differentiate automated dcs vs human dcs - would be nice to set an idempotency key in the request to avoid odd duplicates in the conversation -

Would be nice to also have an endpoint to check it a particular user can be DCd without sending the message - this enables apps to handle error cases prematurely

solid. could be nice to also think about 1. how a user pre-consents to have an API message land in their primary inbox vs. request inbox (e.g. opt-in to messages) 2. how a user elegantly moves an appreciated message from the "request inbox" into primary inbox

Just went through the spec. It's scary that opt-ins are not part of V1. @v @dwr.eth please don't launch this without the opt-ins. Otherwise, you'll be dealing with the spam for months!! Also, it's missing throttling. Consider that for V1, too.
