Inbox spam from an apparently real account w/ 50k followers that I've never interacted with. Is this a norm violation or is it kosher farcaster behavior?

Understand the sentiment behind releasing a product and wanting to get eyes on it. Growth hacking is sometimes a must for an app to succeed.

However, blasting a direct message to someone you have no previous interactions with (not even a bi-directional follow) is a sure way to get me to never try your app.

We have such a builder positive group here, just casting and getting public accolades generally is more than sufficient.

There are some heuristics applied what goes in to inbox vs. requests per the sender account age, followers etc. Might be a good extention to apply some more strict guides to programmatic ones.

I received it too.... How come it landed in my inbox directly? And not in "requests"? 🤔

This looks like the new Supercast Boost feature 🤔 something I wouldn’t do, but guess everyone is just trying.  If it’s from Supercast, I think they should remove this feature
