Made some tough decisions today!

One of my good friends is a single mom and she doesn’t have many role models for her kid, and her kid wanted to see me this weekend earlier because she wanted to show me her gymnastics routine, so I had to leave work early. 

The boyfriend also enjoys dillydallying, so I didn’t have time to pack my swimsuit to see my friend and I forgot her souvenirs at home. But he got his cinnamon bun and his walk.

All that to say, seeing the kids’ gymnastics routine, and the boyfriend getting his walk and cinnamon bun with me, is much more important to them. Work is just as important to me but the downside is disappointing the people I love vs. making money. And I would rather make the people I love happy than make money today.
