Oh yeah, I think you're not the only one to have trouble with Rainbow, at least 2-3 others mentioned similar on mobile specifically

For WalletConnect from Safari it worked for me the second time, after trying to connect the first time, and waiting for a while - I went back to the mint site and hit the Rainbow button again, then it established a connection fine

Honestly not sure, I haven't been able to test myself
I've also seen feedback in tg saying it worked without issue

Personally - I had no issues with the in app browse

And on WC I had to do the connection part twice

But it still worked after that
