It's so sad to hear that @lolwildcard is sunsetting (another one). I've always thought Wildcard had solid technical capabilities, with deep builds and a wide range of features. It integrated both friendtech-style key (Ticket) trading and $DEGEN-style tipping ($WILD), two common incentive models, all within the client. It even explored token-gated chatting groups, onchain token activity tracking, user portfolio views, multilingual translations, and other super convenient features. Yet, in the end, it too has quietly faded away. I don’t know exactly why, though I can guess a few reasons. Anyway, thanks to Wildcard for everything they’ve contributed to the Farcaster ecosystem. Looking forward to something extraordinary from the team next. This might be my last cast via @lolwildcard 🫡

Most users are on Warpcast, while third-party clients show low activity. Wildcard seems to be a medium-sized team, so it’s understandable that they might pivot quickly if profitability appears unlikely.
