my left-curve understanding of aging is that the body has gas and brakes gas: more energy, higher metabolism, muscle growth, more cancer, faster aging, heat, radiation, oxidative stress brakes: lower metabolism, glp1, metformin, calorie restriction, cold plunges, meditation

mostly yes. in reality its obviously more complicated than this. you want exercise because our bodies are antifragile and need to be challenged to grow and stay healthy. falling and breaking your hip at 60 is a massive hit to lifespan so its a tradeoff
