My friends and I built a little voice-only, kitchen assistant. https://www.roux.app/voice Remember the switch from printed out Mapquest directions to GPS and navigation? It’s kind of like that. Works with any digital recipe. Just drop in the url, put your phone away, and start cooking. Can’t think of a better community to share this with. Have fun and let me know what you think.

Grrr timers and web don’t get along. We can’t reliably alert you if your phone is locked but if/when we do an app, this will be our first upgrade… pinkie swear!

PWA’s can send notifs! But perhaps painful to execute voice notifs a la turn by turn directions.
