My friend (a high school teacher) asked me what's different about Farcaster vs. Twitter.

I told her that she owns her data - as in when she deletes it, it's gone. In the case of Twitter, we don't really know if the data is gone. 

How would you explain Farcaster vs. Twitter to someone outside of web3?

Real: 

It’s a social network mostly populated by the good kind of outcasts - smart, empathetic people. It’s lightweight in the right ways, easy to get into, and doesn’t suck hours of my time per day. I almost always find at least 1 interaction-worthy post when I open, w/o scrolling. People build here.
