When Maga says that I will impose a 100% tariff on BRICS and a 25% tariff on my neighbors, well, the others try to find an alternative to the dollar.

This series of events to sideline the dollar started when Trump tried to exit the JCPOA without considering the consequences and, for once, forced the world to reconsider its dealings in dollars! If the US, disregarding its agreements, decides to block a country from using SWIFT, there’s no reason why countries that might be seen as competitors to the US wouldn’t face the same fate.
