The JCPOA, though often seen as a mere plaything, nonetheless obligated both parties to certain terms. Iran could utilize the snapback mechanism, while other parties could invoke the trigger mechanism. If a replacement agreement is not reached before the JCPOA's demise, the Middle East may not witness favorable outcomes.
