After Golan Heights, the latest landgrab of Israel in Syria is Mount Hermon. It's the highest peak in the country and only 40km from Damascus. Say what you want about Assad, but the new Al Qaeda leaders of Syria seem a lot more sympathetic to land grabs of US allies (Israel & Turkey).
