If ur a Kubrick fan, you’ll likely enjoy. Loosely based on early days of Scientology. Spent years trying to get it financed, then Megan Allison (Larry’s daughter) threw a bag with $40M at PT Anderson n said “sure go ahead and use those giant cameras”

Ah shit, playtime is a Tati film I’ve never seen. Thanks! From PT Anderson I’d also recommend Punch Drunk Love, huge Tati influence

aside from 2001: a space odyssey which is holy ground.
