starting to get over vinyl. what someone should make are little coaster-sized chips with album art on them so a device can look up the album and stream it instantly in lossless. would evoke the tactility of manually selecting music without taking up a bunch of space.

Design and software at Apple. Also into AI, philosophy of mind, ethics.

Dig this concept, 2 add on ideas

1 - Pair with a mobile app that scans album art and adds album/song to playlist. 

2 - generate pack of coasters based on a playlist. Customer buys coaster pack.

sure, or just tap it to the phone. there’s an NFC and BLE API. agreed too on bulk order

Ah yes, i say photo scan, because then u can print as paper coasters. if a coaster costs .10-1$ Consumers could make small batch purchases, bars/clubs could buy wholesale n cheap enough that wouldn’t matter if a customer steals or is gifted.

Hmm, could be add on. In order for the bar/club model to work, each coaster would prolly have to be total <25c. But feel like 50c reasonable for consumer collector use case. Maybe too for bars. New version of a jukebox

Next procrastination session, I’ll look at manufacturing costs/logistics, dm ya if have something worth sharing. Someone should do this
