I’d actually go further and say to build apps that aren’t in traditional crypto verticals. @stevedylandev.eth does a great job of this. Break out of the crypto dev silo and build tools for the masses

One of the most satisfying projects I worked on was an Intercom app that acted as an email server to intercept certain support emails and filter/reply to them automatically, and it saved our team literally 10+ hours of work a week. It wasn’t much code, nothing fancy, but it was so satisfying to solve that problem (esp since I was handling the emails lol)

One of most satisfying things for me as a dev, is building things that solve real business issues. That said, building things that are used by other devs and improve their quality of life is awesome too, especially as I have a good idea of how to fix them being the target end user.
