Smart accounts are going to replace traditional web2 auth:
- Account composability
- Granular, decentralized permissions
- Public, transportable profiles

We're probably 6-12 months from making this a reality, the AA infra just needs a little more adoption.

AA will most likely be dead by then @gregfromstl It's been around for 1.5 years and no real adoption. Imo EIP-7702 is what will make things happen( https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-7702#abstract) and it’s going to be part of PECTRA in Q1. 

Tldr: this upgrade will allow normal wallets to delegate their tx ability to a smart contract temporarily

Replacing is a big word, but becoming first tier like login via google / fb etc, that could happen in the next years
