Our current plan

1. Grow the number of daily active users on Farcaster

2. This benefits creators because they have a larger potential audience

3. This also benefits developers because they have a large potential user base

4. Super joining Warpcast allows us to invest more time on growth (no. 1)

5. Base bringing Farcaster into Coinbase Wallet—an app that has millions of existing users—helps with growth (no. 1)

6. We’re working on several big growth initiatives—both product-led (Woj will be helping with this!) and marketing / sales led (more announcements here soon!)

7. We’re investing more time in outbound messaging. You’ve likely seen our X / Twitter account get more active recently. Will be doing more here as well.

Im not sure…. 

I definitely could see a path with more developers building products on top of FC would lead to that. Not sure how marketing could be involved in that, but need to build awareness of the opportunities.

I could see acquiring influential individuals to come on the platform potentially having direct impact to it.

Do you think there is a direct line to spend more on marketing and this Dune chart showing cast numbers / reactions going up?

Only reason I found out about WC is because $DEGEN was advertised on Coinbase when they first dropped it

Building @basketdotfarm on @base. Ethereum is not an altcoin, it's a buildcoin.

Awareness factors for new user acquisition, but don’t see it as the area to improve DAU. Lots of depth to understanding usage, which is where the hard product challenges are. Challenges that are more existential to FC than say X. Without usage the token mechanism falls apart. @chinmay.eth - thoughts?

The issues is that profiles aren't visible unless you log in - so it's added friction for people to join and see value given you have to pay to have an account first

Good point, but I’m not sure what type of marketing spend would be effective. I think more projects on Farcaster that attract newbies could be more impactful.

Do you think marketing will bring Merkle M's target market?

Why would anyone in your neighbourhood use anything Farcaster today?

The main problem I see is that with Farcaster, very few things are truly decentralized. Everything should be decentralized, as is the case with Lens and their handles.

For me I would say show me everyone's posts!!! These networks set up these algos that show random stuff. All I want is to see folks I follow man
