As a developer building on Farcaster, I found them to be a bit contradictory, unsettling, & overly defeatist.

fwiw we're steadily integrating pieces of the protocol into gallery and i want to call out that the FC team has been quite supportive in providing resources thus far

seems like the main question is around the purpose of WC: simple demo / GTM for the protocol, or best-in-class dapp with novel features that drive DAU?

I feel like success for Farcaster means multiple killer apps (or maybe killer implementations is a better word?), not one “the” killer app

i generally agree at the current stage, but one could imagine the conflict of interest that may arise if the team building the protocol is also building the killer app on that protocol – it may get preferential treatment relative to other apps that look and feel similar
