some agents (like aixbt) have tokens bc you need to hold some amount to interact with it. (not that i think this model makes sense from the UX POV, it's more for pumping bags)

so you buy a token thinking it will go up as the agent posts on twitter and then you check how much engagement it has gud mindshare might go up bad mindshare might go down

each agent having its own token could be for tracking and incentivizing its actions. measuring agent mindshare in apps could mean seeing how much influence or usage an agent has within a specific space or community

most projects don't need a token most people buying a token to get exposure to a project are not actually exposed to the project's intrinsic revenue stream, if it even has one

it’s clanker for adding a biography to the agent onchain + a token, they had economic incentives like pools against the virtuals token or simply pool fees it’s not complicated 👌
