I was totally out of the loop but I have to say I find it misleading that most L2s and also OP is upgradable. Technically it is not an L2 as long as someone can arbitrarily change the byte code at the contract or not?

My naive take is that basically no L2 (at least the ones that people use) is meaningfully decentralized today, or has a clear path to getting there Which is understandle (it’s a really hard thing to build) but doesn’t reflect how they’re marketed to users
