Have their been any third-party audits to verify text.com's data and privacy claims? Everyone here is likely security conscious. That's why we're on a future decentralized network.

some hackers did inspect the app's traffic and verify the claims. this is something you (and any user) can confirm as well using an app like little snitch: https://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.html

Thanks for the follow-up and awesome tool! I'm bookmarking this and will look for a Linux version. I've been thinking about this issue for persistent apps and browser add-ons. This is a great start to self-check Text.com server calls. It would be great for a third-party code audit in the future.
