One learning from building GBBG is that Warpcast programmatic DC's are a great way to streamline communication across a group of people

For the first round, I even required that customers have a Farcaster account so I could quickly and easily reach them. Ty @deodad and @horsefacts.eth for the feature 🫡

we want to see more applications using them in transactional settings like these

I don’t think they work as well as a mass broadcast tool at this point which has been the majority of the usage

fwiw I’m using it in a couple places:

when an order is placed, send a confirmation/thank you message immediately

when a location is chosen for bread pickup, blast details to all customers. this is kinda broadcasting and works well, albeit at a very small scale

nice thanks for explaining. can I gift bread? Would like try it out but not in NY

and i consider that transactional still since it’s a “your order is ready” message

technically the contract supports gifting but I decided not support it on the frontend for simplicity to start
