It's not necessarily meant to introduce new functionality, but rather exist as a backup/alternative to existing tools. Having multiple frontends to interact with smart contracts is important!

yes! maybe you can also consider adding a FrameSDKProvider / useFrameSDK to the package so its like 5 lines to implement and makes the context available on all routes out of the box!
