There's an OBOL community cluster consisting of nine people who have deposited 3.2 Ether and are chomping at the bit to go live with their DVT validator. One person dropped out so they're actively searching for someone who wants to join in. Let me know if you want an intro.

A few questions just for some curiosity clarifications for myself and potentially anyone interested: 1. what is OBOL? 2. why DVT over simply hodling 3.2 rETH? 3. what is the plan for the rewards from said DVT validator?

Good questions! Excellent answers by @superphiz.eth. Also wanted to add that when you are part of an Obol DV community cluster and staking your own ETH, you are part of the “squadstaking” movement and contributing to the decentralization of Ethereum in one of the most direct ways possible today.

Ideally, everyone stakes from home and makes Ethereum decentralized as possible. Although that is not the case today, DVT allows more and more people to stake directly from home in groups, in a safer, more fault tolerant manner with less ETH required. This is ideally the future of ETH staking: community-based.
