There's an OBOL community cluster consisting of nine people who have deposited 3.2 Ether and are chomping at the bit to go live with their DVT validator. One person dropped out so they're actively searching for someone who wants to join in. Let me know if you want an intro.

A few questions just for some curiosity clarifications for myself and potentially anyone interested: 1. what is OBOL? 2. why DVT over simply hodling 3.2 rETH? 3. what is the plan for the rewards from said DVT validator?

Good questions! Excellent answers by @superphiz.eth. Also wanted to add that when you are part of an Obol DV community cluster and staking your own ETH, you are part of the “squadstaking” movement and contributing to the decentralization of Ethereum in one of the most direct ways possible today.

Excellent questions! 1. OBOL is a company that developed a Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) 2. DVT is a staking technology, you'll get 1/10 the reward of a full staking validator. 3. These rewards will probably go to an 0xsplits.app contract for fair distribution. 1000 $DEGEN
