Before Gambino could respond, the war horns blared, shattering the quiet. The urgent sound signaled an attack on the town.

Panic flickered in Raul's eyes. "The North is attacking!" he exclaimed, rising from his seat.

Gambino’s heart raced. He turned to the young Thundrax, torn between protecting it and defending his people. But the dragon wasn’t ready for battle, and the town needed him.

"Stay here, Raul! Guard the dragon!" Gambino shouted, rushing to the exit.

Leaving the Thundrax behind, Gambino sprinted outside, his hand on the hilt of his sword. The air was thick with the sounds of battle—clashing steel, shouts, and the roar of enemies breaching defenses.

Rushing outside, Gambino was met with utter chaos. The sky glowed orange as giant mutated snails, their shells covered in armor, slowly crawled toward the South’s castle, flinging flaming boulders from mounted catapults on their backs. The sound of stone crashing against the castle walls echoed, each hit shaking the very ground.

North infantry swarmed the battlefield on foot, pressing forward in their invasion. Shouts and clashing steel filled the air, as the South’s soldiers fought desperately to hold their ground.

Gambino barely had time to assess the scene before he was met by a group of North soldiers, weapons drawn, intent on taking him out.

His hand instinctively tightened around the hilt of his sword as he prepared for the fight.
