over the past couple of days there's been a new element on farcaster that we haven't seen much before: a project attacking another project and its founders to try to bolster its own position i want to be really clear: 1. I will defend Moxie and our team and our track record as serious builders forever and forever with vigor 2. No one needs to tear anyone else down to build yourself up. It may produce near term gains but it wont win in the long term 3. As we've said from day 0, our ambition with Moxie is to be the financial layer of Farcaster in a positive-sum way that enables everyone to win together. We will not rest and we will not waver on that mission.

Yeah, not a fan of this approach. BTC Maxis did it to ETH ETH maxis did it to SOL Maxi maxis don’t need to do it to moxie

I mean the reality is no one's "attacking moxie" yes there's memes being made and if that's attacking big ooof but like even being the number 1 maxi holder by a large amount I've been very vocal on the tl about how I view moxie as one of the most innovative projects in the space and how maxi works better if moxie succeeds, so like lol idk, esspecially considering he's been saying since day one that maxi going to rug even though the liquidity is obviously locked

thats definitely not the reality. memes are memes but there is absolutely people attacking @betashop.eth specifically and moxie in general to favor a different project. and you know that.

lol i didnt say anything about the intent or thought of the team (i assume youre talking about the maxi team). i said there is people attacking beta and moxie. and there is. the bad mouthing and hate started from the ham community and then flowed into the maxi community. a minority of people im sure. but its still there. and you trying to say nobody is attacking just isnt true.

But making it seem like it's some coordinated thing out to get him is what I'm calling out, esspecially since he's said multiple times that maxi will rug, when it's locked, so like yeah people got mad about it, lol like o well, idk I just think the double standard is silly, this was suppose to be fun and games and 1 side made it way more than that, and then for that side to try and play vitcim, nah not for me 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
