Galaxies observed farther from Earth r described as accelerating away at a faster rate than nearer galaxies. I've read this means the universe is accelerating outward, cold death of Universe. Looking at distant galaxies, we r looking into the past; does that mean galaxies were accelerating faster in the past than now

No, it means time isn’t real. 😁

what is time, really? Its an intriguing concept for certain. time is tied to the speed of information but what is it? How does it weave into gravity/acceleration?

Mathematically its kinda like a box in a box and close to fourth dimensional spatial reasoning For us humans there is only the eternal now if we’re being honest. Everything else is beyond human perception and other spatial reasoning is mostly a waste of time. Because the dimensions beyond 3D are vast and intense😂
