When I was a snowboard filmer I embarked on a long trip. Our house in SLC was burglarized but nothing appeared to be gone. My roommate got home & found small things gone like soc security card etc, I check my bank, 2k is gone. Dude took my fake id & went on a Wells Fargo rampage leaving me in NYC w almost 0 dollars..

I get back to slc, go pick up my snowmobile from the shop, lock it in my truck bed but have to park out front. Wake up in the morning to gaping hole where it was. Dude came back and jacked it, but I left it nearly empty so he didn’t make it far. Someone stops to help, brings him to gas station, he didn’t have money

For gas or a can so he steals their car and drives off. Gets away. That night he tries to rob another house but they’re home - takes wrong keys so car won’t open so he runs. Ends up jumping off a parking garage into 20 foot snow bank in hot pursuit but gets caught. 9 felonies 7 misdemeanors just from MY STUFF

3 years of hard drives gone, only thing I didn’t get back, no sign. Go to SLC PD and they start handing me back small items like digital camera, truck keys, and just hand me back my fake id thinking it was real :P someone calls a week later saying the number didn’t match and I’m just like 🤷♂️ 😬

Not so happy ending - someone ran a red and I t boned the fuck out of them a few days later, after my video camera glitched out during a shoot lol. Start of 2011 was rough, when it rains it pours, but all turned around as I made my way to NYC to start a new life
