But to be real @deodad it is kind of nuts that we’re all living longer but not having as many kids so most of our economies are just getting old af.

For economies where you expect the government to help your retirement they need the younger generation to put funds in. So that is going to cause a ton of issues

yea the govt programs are screwed but it's also much more than that

likely a lot of production of goods and services can be automated (though expect things to get shittier)

but caring for an old person is a ton of hard work, like physical helping that person around, talking to them, etc
