So many people at work have been getting sick lately. Same stuff which is flu, cough, sometimes a fever. But why does it feel so wrong to just take a sick day and rest? It’s like we’ve been taught that pushing through is better than actually recovering. Kinda messed up when you think about it.

I totally agree. it's a shame that we feel guilty for taking a day to take care of ourselves and also, not potentially infect others.

This! 2-4 people in our dept were sick week after week for almost a month. I had it 3 weeks ago. I stayed home and worked when I got better as I was still coughing a bit. But this flu/cough was so hard to get rid of!
