Can the smart people explain this rise to me? It still does not compute in my brain. But I'm looking for something more technical than philosophical.

the USA has a 2 party system and when Biden was removed from the race: whoever the replacement was (Kamala) would likely regain most of the market betting on the outcome that “a democratic candidate will win the election”
