yeh i think its a shame if a proposer and/or recipient would make a promise and then not deliver such a thing. although this particular claim reads as a vague prediction of an outcome, rather than a promise to do anything (and doesn't seem from reading it like it was necceasrily a declaration from the recipients). that said, regardless, i am currently convinced it would be a lose-lose to pressure any noun recipients to return them. it already feels a bit petty to even be debating it, and if it occured, it would make it feel like less of a club i would want to be part of. (again, if the proposal was to "use a Noun to do X" explicitly, as opposed to an award or gratitude distribution, that might be a different story) imo any focus around this theme should be on funds not spent on proposals, and left lingering etc. i think theyre absolutely fair game for social pressure / expectations.

For me personally pushes me away people being in nouns just as mercenaries instead as me or others following the belief of 4156 describing being nounish, 0 votes is as relationship since is agreeable that has no impact for more vague that prop is written being the only social contract of agreement, not referring that voting is needed but just one metric there is absolutely no appreciation of gift an honor of opportunity that generates this feeling for many that is not fair nouns only takes the L, not to mention that makes for next gifted nouns terms much harder and specific given past abuse limiting opportunities 🤷♂️
